Hi all.. i recall us talking about a new medication that was coming out to treat diarrhea . Do you remember the name of it? i would greatly appreciate some help… been on line and not sure what to look for or the name doesn’t seem familiar.
thank you… AngelagoddessrocksParticipantApril 16, 2014 at 3:53 amPost count: 30
thank you all for recipes and responses… i’ve been doing the juicing and it’s fine… I use 5 carrots a finger of ginger, 5 sticks of celery and a whole bunch of organic baby spinach… after juicing all this i have greens for 2-3 days and usually take a half glass and add some water..
Atleast i feel i’m getting some nutrition… my gut is doing better and it seems my energy is also. Still doing the bone broth something in it feels very healing.goddessrocksParticipantApril 7, 2014 at 5:37 pmPost count: 30goddessrocksParticipantMarch 16, 2014 at 7:13 pmPost count: 30
Thank you Greer and Jaeme…. i really appreciate the clarity…i guess i need to get a scale…sigh.. i have so much resistance. Do any of you have any information on Juicing vegetables . i’ve been juicing a few carrots a bout 8 celery sticks and a big tub of spinach and using just the juice and getting rid of all the fiber… it feels nutritious and easy to digest. i also water it down a bit. but i would like to add more veggies… i heard kale has sometime in it that can be hard on the tummy… any info would be helpful..goddessrocksParticipantMarch 13, 2014 at 1:12 amPost count: 30
I am very happy you are having this conversation…. Thank you Jaeme for being so involved and helpful… I too am wondering which is the sticky rice at the store and since i live here in Hawaii there is alot of sticky rice in restarants… so given all this can I safely say that an evening of eating sushi would be ok? and how much rice is ok?goddessrocksParticipantMarch 10, 2014 at 7:45 pmPost count: 30goddessrocksParticipantMarch 10, 2014 at 6:27 pmPost count: 30goddessrocksParticipantMarch 10, 2014 at 6:25 pmPost count: 30goddessrocksParticipantMarch 10, 2014 at 6:22 pmPost count: 30goddessrocksParticipantMarch 1, 2014 at 10:33 pmPost count: 30goddessrocksParticipantMarch 1, 2014 at 8:41 pmPost count: 30
okay I”m trying to figure out Maltodextrin. i’ve looked it up and it seems to be a food thickener and very highly absorbable .. it used in sports recovery products.
any body have any better or more info. i’m along distance bike rider and siince i’ve been on this diet my energy seems to be lower. i’ve gotten the electrolyte system down but i have a gel recovery product that has maltodextrin and 22 carbs….i read that maltdextrin is a 130 GI… how’s that possible.. can anyone help me figure this out…??
many thanksgoddessrocksParticipantMarch 1, 2014 at 8:33 pmPost count: 30
I’ve been on this diet for several months with a huge decrease in the gas and bloating but I did avoid those greens as I have IBS-D and could tell they were not being digested properly. I just started juicing these greens mostly spinach celery and few carrots and cukes together an am finding it energizing and seems fine…. i love my greens and also was having trouble digesting ..but I think the juicing takes most of the fiber out and leaves the vit/min.. hope this helps.goddessrocksParticipantFebruary 7, 2014 at 1:49 amPost count: 30
