I am curious as to whether root based supplements, such as ginger root tablets (for motility), ginseng root (for energy) would be classed as fiber and be likely to cause issues? SCD-wise they seem acceptable, but I’d like to get an FTD opinion/experience.
the frozen ginger I keep in the freezer (obviously) tells me if ahs about 20 carbs per 100 (actually I think 18 + 2 fibre). so I think of it as 2FP’s per 10g? (of course it could be lower if it has a GI that is high but I tend to be conservative about these things. Ginseng I do not know about. Hope that helps
