Has anyone had muscle cramps apon awakening? I am guessing this has something to do with the dietary changes I have made. I am still eating 1/2 cup of Jasmine rice per day so I am not in ketosis. I can tell when I start to go into ketosis because I get headaches and I am not getting those. I am guessing this is a bit of elecrolyte imbalance.
Did anyone have this?? and did it pass?
Other than sea salts which have a lot of minerals, and foods, I CANT take any other supplements because I have an inflammatory health condition that makes me sensitive to vitamin supplements. Any food suggestions?
THANKS!ftderParticipantNovember 16, 2014 at 3:29 pmPost count: 210
In researching, it is possible I might be a bit dehydrated so I will try that first.JaemeParticipantNovember 16, 2014 at 5:48 pmPost count: 348
Definitely keeping well-hydrated will help. You mentioned being on high doses of Magnesium and your plan to cut back. Low magnesium is listed as a possible cause of muscle cramps. While you may not be low, your body may have adjusted to the high doses and cutting back abruptly may have caused a similar response until you re-adjust?
