Hi there!
Hoping someone can help? I was told by my ND to start taking digestive enzymes but every time I try it burns! I have mild gastritis as well as SIBO. Any thoughts?
There are different digestive enzymes for different needs. I found I couldn’t take any that have pancreatic enzymes, as I got burning. I found that “Acid-Ease” causes no problems for me.
Good luck!Yes, Acid Ease by Enzymatic Therapy is especially designed for sensitive stomachs. I had burning/pain with other enzymes, as most contain protease. Acid Ease (bad name, nothing to do with acid blocking) also has some marshmallow root, slippery elm & gamma-oryzanol to coat & heal stomach lining. I love this product and it really helps with carb digesting.
