I am going to be starting the FTD soon. I have been dairy free for many years. While I may be lactose intolerant, I think that I also have some other dairy intolerance or sensativity. I can get ill even after taking lactaid pills or having lactose free milk. There are many recipes that call for dairy ingredients. Is it ok to substitute non-dairy alternatives? Most seem like they could be substituted with coconut alternatives. But what about the soy cheeses? Are those ok? Any other suggestions?
