Pam, also from what I have been reading, ketosis can have a VERY different effect on women than men because our hormones and metabolism are different. Most of the keto studies have been done on mostly men. Anecdotal reporting says ketosis will effect a woman’s hormones, sleep, and metabolism in potentially a detrimental way, but I am sure this is not true for everyone. Wonder if you were a glucose burner if you would not wake up at night as much (even if you had to pee, maybe you would sleep through it). Is it chicken or the egg? 🙂
