Thanks for asking, Paula. I am nearing the end but I don’t think the diet benefited me much. I am still having the throat issues. I think maybe I am ingesting too much coconut milk, olive oil, and nuts in order to get enough calories. I do not need to lose weight. I am missing the red potatoes, jasmine rice, and French bread that I am allowed on the FT diet. The doctor who is filling in for my Gastroenterologist to going to write orders for me to have a manometry to check LES function and ph test. She wants to figure out if GERD is truly the issue.
