I have found that any reflux/acid throat symptoms that occur a few hours after eating have been helped by drinking alkaline water (pH of higher than 7). Fiji water is pH 7.7, other brands as high as over pH 8. This seems to neutralize any acid in the throat, and if drank a few hours after meals, does not dilute the acid for digestion. I only use it when any symptoms are present, as I want the acid in the stomach.
